This limited series, hosted by Christine Kim, explores how stewards of Ethereum think about their work and insights from three years of interdisciplinary protocol research.
Each episode features a guest from the Ethereum Foundation and an alumni of Summer of Protocols. A lot of care went into selecting the right matchups – and we’re confident that you’ll enjoy conversations on the following topics:
- Introduction to Ethereum, protocols, and Bridge Atlas.
- Commons, creators, and crises.
- Computing frontiers and society.
- Protocol design, affordances, and dark sides.
- The future of trust and institutions.
This series will culminate in a day-long event at Devconnect, in Buenos Aires, on November 22nd, 2025.
After a decade of work building out powerful infrastructure and applications, and working out fundamental values, the Ethereum ecosystem is ready to harmonize and merge its vision of the planetary future with similar visions being pursued by people and institutions beyond crypto. It’s time for bridge-building on an unprecedented scale. Crossing the chasm to global adoption of Ethereum will be about hundreds of small bridges connecting practical capabilities with real applications, not grand declarations. In this day-long workshop, the Summer of Protocols team will draw on three years of research, creative projects, and educational initiatives to facilitate an ambitious conversation on bridge-building. Through a series of talks and small-group exercises, we will figure out how to reshape the world, one small bridge at a time.
